Scope
The International Conference on Sustainable and Intelligent Education: Towards a Future, addresses virtually nowadays most important issues of education, which are sustainability and artificial intelligence (AI). Both issues are urgent considering nowadays geopolitics that exposed needs for a new generation of sustainability thinking, affecting and demanding new education models as well, and the overall AI revolution that has potential, and in some cases already affects significantly, to radically change our education models, up to elimination of actual models in virtually all dimensions.

220 volts AC, 50Hz. Continental two-pin plugs CEE7/4 Schuko are in use.

Smoking
Smoking – cigarettes, cigars and pipes – is banned in indoor public places in Portugal (as of 1 January 2008). The ban prohibits smoking in all government buildings as well as work places, public transport, schools and sports facilities, hospitals, museums, food and beverage establishments, covered car parks, theatres, libraries, and bars and restaurants where smoking is only allowed in designated smoking areas or venues.
VAT
There are different rates of VAT (Value Added Tax, in Portuguese: Imposto sobre o Valor Acrescentado – IVA) due for different goods and services. These rates are:

Prices in shops and restaurants are inclusive IVA (VAT).
